APPEAL COURT VERDICT WILL END OPPOSITION GHOST CHASING VOYAGE

:Comrade Arewa Oluwaseun.

The Special Adviser to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Osun State, Comrade Arewa Oluwaseun Olaposi while addressing a group of people in a meeting on Tuesday, October 24th on the legal tussle going on between Honourable Taofeek Ajilesoro of PDP and Mr Benjamin Adereti of APC over the February 25th Ife federal Constituency election in which Honourable Ajilesoro was declared the winner by INEC.

The SA who was seen in a video footage shown above has described the legal action of the opposition as frivolous, an attempt to take what does not belong to them through backdoor, Saying it is a ghost-chasing voyage which will at the end, yield no meaningful result.

"There is no denying the fact that Honourable Ajilesoro truly won the election, though, keenly contested, with a 3,000 margin or thereabout, it was a free and fair election. We all know there is no perfect election anywhere in the world, but the election which rode Honourable Taofeek to victory over his challenger, Engineer Benjamin Adereti was truly a credible one" Comrade Arewa posited.

Speaking further on the issue of certificates of the winner which also form the major ground of appeal by the opposition. Comrade Arewa Oluwaseun stated, "I am the only one handling the case for Honourable Ajilesoro throughout the hearing at the tribunal in Osogbo, I and Mr Bejamin Adereti were the ones appearing in all the sittings in Osogbo, the location of the Tribunal, I brought all the witnesses from all the local governments and Wards in Ife federal constituency to the court, Honourable Ajilesoro never for once appeared since he had no skeleton in his cupboard, I know the nitty-gritty of the case, there is no cause for alarm, how on earth would one challenge primary school attendance of a serving Rep member, imagine a primary school, not even secondary, not university, not even the mastership authenticity. It is highly disgusting and embarrassing. The opposition thought they would take the mandate through the back door, but I tell you, they are going to fail again just like in the lower tribunal".
