The Apex authority presiding over the Royal, Spiritual and Administrative affairs of the House of Oranfe worldwide, Oba Abiodun Orarotimi Mullatto has begun a 3day seclusion to seek the face of the ancestors.


The seclusion rite which is done annually is spiritually mandated before the festival commences as every Obaluru must go incommunicado for a duration of 3days to commune with the extraterrestrial world and the deities and also serves as an harbinger of good tidings for each annual festival.


Speaking before going into isolation, His Ancestral Majesty, the Obaluru of Ife said he shall dedicates this years 3days seclusion to pray for lasting peace within our society and also abundance of prosperity for all sons and daughters of Oranfe lineage, for Ile-ife and the country at large. 


The 12days 2023 ORANFE festival shall commence immediately after the seclusion rites.
