Stop Misleading The General Public, OSUN PEOPLES FORUM Warns Hired Faceless Group.

A civil society organisation in Osun state, known as the Osun Peoples Forum,OPF, has warned of a faceless group, Yoruba Movement for Social Justice, hired by a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Osun State, to stop misinforming and misleading innocent members of the general public over a matter that is pending before a Federal High Court in Oshogbo.

The OPF gave this warning while reacting to a malicious and mischievous online publication which is not only designed by the hired faceless group to misinform and mislead innocent members of the general public, but also crafted to smear the good name of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwole Jimi-Bada.

Osun Peoples Forum (OPF) has also accused the hired faceless group under the fictitious name of Yoruba Movement for Social Justice of meddling in a matter that is pending before a reputable court, an act which can be convinculy classified as subjudice.

OPF stated further that, as much as the faceless group, YMSJ, is making fruitless efforts to undermine the integrity of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Osun State, through malicious misinformation and spreading of mischievous falsehood, it is important that they are reminded that a matter under judicial consideration is prohibited from public discussion elsewhere.

The faceless Yoruba Movement for Social Justice is thereby warned to stop dishing out mischievous falsehood capable of using the Court process to disrupt the relative peace that Osun State has been known for in the comity of States.

Osun Peoples Forum,OPF, has assured the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of its goodwill in the discharge of his constitutional duties, without fear or favor, as bestowed upon him by relevant laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 

He knows the right thing to do at the right time. The intervention of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice is in line with

Section 211 of the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) to institute, undertake, take over, continue and discontinue criminal proceedings against any person before any court of law in Nigeria.

With all these in view, It is very safe at this point to conclude that, the faceless Yoruba Movement for Social Justice, is only trading in the act of a busybody, after agreeing to the fact that the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice has the Constitutional powers to take over the case as provided by relevant sections of the constitution, still went ahead to say that it is too early for the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice to take over the case. The time to act by an individual occupying such a critical office of the justice system is an exclusive discretion of the holder of such Office.

The OPF went further to commend Justice Oluwole Jimi-Bada over the improvement witnessed in the administration of the justice system in Osun State since he took over as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of the State.

Ever since his assumption of office as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwole Jimi-Bada, has left no one in doubt as the right man for the job. He is not only endowed with the capabilities of constitutionally discharging his duties as required of his prestigious office, he has also proven beyond reasonable doubt that he knows his onions.
