Honourable Barrister Oluwole Jimi-Bada, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Osun State write to extend warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Asiwaju Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke on his second year anniversary as the Executive Governor of Osun State. This milestone achievement is a confirmation to His Excellency leadership, vision, and dedication to the good people of Osun State.


Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration has demonstrated a strong commitment to the welfare of all stakeholders in Osun State, including senior citizens and state workers across all ministries, departments, and parastatals. The recent and continuous payment to contributory pensioners is a confirmation to this commitment. Furthermore, the administration's innovative policies, such as enrolling pensioners in the state's health scheme, have significantly improved their access to healthcare facilities.


Similarly, state workers across all ministries, departments, and parastatals have benefited from the administration's worker-friendly policies. The governor's commitment to prompt payment of salaries, allowances, and benefits has boosted the morale of workers and enhanced their productivity. The administration's efforts to enhance the working conditions of state workers are indeed praiseworthy. A notable recent achievement is the approval of Seventy Five Thousand Naira (#75,000) as the minimum wage for the lowest-paid workers in the state. This move is even more impressive considering the the newly implemented national minimum wage rate of #70,000, as stipulated in the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024.


The administration's commitment to providing modern equipment, training, and capacity-building programs has significantly boosted the efficiency and effectiveness of the state's workforce. These initiatives have not only improved productivity but also demonstrated the administration's dedication to the well-being and growth of its employees.


In addition to efforts to enhance the working conditions of state workers, the administration of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has also made significant strides in improving the lives of non-workers and citizens across Osun State.
