A significant gesture of goodwill was extended by Bar. Jimi Wolé Bada, a prominent figure in Osun State’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the current Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice at  the general meeting hosted by Ilare Ward 3, Ife Central Local Government. Bar. Bada distributed palliatives to about hundred of PDP members, bringing smiles and relief amidst ongoing economic pressures.


The event, marked by a remarkable turnout, was attended by key PDP leaders and government officials, highlighting the unity and enthusiasm within the party. While addressing the crowd, Bar. Bada took the opportunity to commend the notable achievements of the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator (Dr.) Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke in just two years.



Achievements of Governor Adeleke Highlighted:

Bar. Jimi Bada emphasized several accomplishments of Governor Adeleke's administration, including: Timely Payment of Salaries: Ensuring consistent payment of workers' salaries and gradually addressing half salaries and pension arrears inherited from the previous administration.







Healthcare Revitalization: Rehabilitation of primary healthcare facilities across all 332 wards in Osun State.


Educational Reforms: The recruitment of  5,000 qualified teachers to boost the state's educational sector.



Infrastructural Developments: Significant improvements in infrastructure and a stabilized judiciary, enhancing morale among judicial staff.


Bar. Bada also pointed out a key achievement that sets Governor Adeleke’s administration apart which is the execution of these extensive projects without resorting to external borrowing; a laudable departure from the practices of previous administrations.


Call to Action and Praise for Humanitarian Efforts:

The Attorney General urged party members to rally support for the governor’s re-election, assuring them of more democratic dividends in the coming weeks. His humanitarian gesture was widely praised by attendees, who noted its potential to alleviate some of the current economic hardships.


The event was graced by several prominent figures, including Dr. Biyi Odunlade, Commissioner for Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations; Bar. Rotimi Adeyenuwo, PDP Chairmanship Candidate in the forthcoming Local Government Elections, and his running mate, Chief Opabunmi Elusanmi, former State Secretary of PDP; Major R.A Towobola; Prince Adesoji Adegoke, Osun State PDP Financial Secretary; and Hon. Duro Adebampe, former Speaker of the House in Ife Central Local Government, among others. The host of this commendable event was Prince Nurudeen Falabi, Executive PDP Chairman of Ife Central Local Government. 


The gesture by Bar.Jimi Bada, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, underscores the party's ongoing efforts to provide relief and foster solidarity among its members as preparations for upcoming elections gather momentum.
