 Remain Steadfast and Avoid Distractions, Governor Adeleke Tasks the good people of Osun and the PDP Members



My dear good people of Osun State and members of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),


I bring you warm greetings and deep appreciation for your steadfastness, loyalty, and unwavering commitment. I want to urge each and every one of you to remain firm, focused, and undistracted as our administration continues to deliver the dividends of democracy and good governance to every corner of Osun State.


Let us not forget how we achieved our victory in 2022 — through the dedication, loyalty, and sacrifices of true party members. We know those God used to lift us to the Government House, and we equally know those who worked against us — whether openly or in silence. Some who opposed us then have now embraced our vision of good governance, while a few remain on the sidelines. Nevertheless, I assure you: we have grown stronger. Our PDP family has expanded with many new members joining us from the opposition, and we have not lost any genuine supporter from 2022 till date.


The strength of our government lies in fairness, equity, and inclusiveness. Every federal constituency is treated equally. In fact, one federal constituency holds three major portfolios in my cabinet. Our infrastructure projects reach every zone; our empowerment programmes touch every community. We are running a truly pan-Osun government that leaves no one behind.


I urge all our members to stay united and resolute. I deeply appreciate the numerous endorsements we are receiving from different groups and individuals. Your support strengthens my resolve to pursue and expand the Imole Agenda beyond 2026.


As we continue to enjoy the goodwill of the people, we must avoid distractions and intensify grassroots mobilization. On the matter of the local government system, be assured that within the confines of the rule of law, we will soon resolve all outstanding issues. I commend our elected local government chairmen and councillors for their patience and steadfastness in defending democracy and the will of the people.


Finally, I want to reassure you all that our focus remains unshaken: to strengthen the PDP, to deepen democratic governance, and to continue delivering a people-centered government in Osun State.


Together, we shall move from light to greater light.
